Caucho's Community Outreach Advocate and Senior Software Engineer stopped by our studio on his way to talks at the Research Triangle JUG and the NoVA/Washington, D.C. JUG.  As a leader of one of the few independent, developer-driven Java companies, we asked him about some of the biggest topics on the Java world.  First we talked about their new version of the Resin application server—Resin 4, and then we discussed the Java EE 6 Web Profile, which is implemented in Resin.  We also discussed the new CDISource organization for promoting CDI.  Reza and Caucho helped CDISource build a Spring/CDI bridge as well.  Finally we wrapped up the talk with some forward looking thoughts on Java EE 7/Java EE 8, WebSocket, and cloud computing.
