This search technology content is part of the Solr-Lucene Microzone, supported by Lucid Imagination, a company of Solr/Lucene all-stars that provides free distributions, training, and a search application development platform called LucidWorks Enterprise.
The free Solr Reference Guide version 3.4 is now available from Lucid Imagination. It should give you detailed descriptions of  all the important feature and functions of the LucidWorks for Solr Certified Distribution, which gives you a little extra compared to the basic Apache distribution.  A Solr 3.5 guide and distribution may be on their way as well, but if Lucene and Solr 4.0 are due out in a few months (we don't really know), Lucid may just wait and skip to the 4.0 distribution when they're ready.

It's available to view it online or download.  This is a must-have for both beginner and developers who are deep into a Solr project.
