Thinking of how people sometimes get united around one common idea, I thought of JCP as an apt illustration... The goal sounds great, the people involved are bright and brilliant, but somehow something goes wrong...

Brilliant and charming, Ann! Thank you very much - I hope you will do more of these. The mechanism of "poetic editorial" is historically a valuable and informative one, and I think it hasn't received enough attention in more recent times. Maybe you can help start a renaissance?
