Chrome Tries to Mimic Mac's Exposé Feature
Chromium developers have been working on an experimental feature for Mac OS X and possibly other operating systems. It works just like the exposé feature on Macs, but for tabs (shifts to a layout with a thumbnail of each tab/window, and you can click on one to go to it). This feature, called Tabposé, is similar to the Panorama feature that Mozilla is working on for Firefox.
Novell's New BFF: VMware
The sales returns from Novell's partnership with Microsoft have diminished. The two parties were giving out IP liability indemnification certificates and Microsoft was recommending SUSE Linux for Windows/Linux hybrid shops. Now that Novell sales are slumping, the Linux company has found a new friend - VMware. VMware has promised to distribute and support SUSE Linux Enterprise Server with its vSphere deployments.
Jetpack Release Brings More APIs
This week Mozilla released Jetpack 0.7. In this version Firefox is now the default application for cfx. There are also three new APIs for panels, the clipboard, and notifications.
