Daily Dose: Infinite Possibilities: ALPHA3 Release of Infinispan 5.0.0. "Pagoa"
The next generation of the Infinispan open-source data grid platform has been released. API enhancements include changes to RemoteCache, and the ability to use AtomicMapLookup to delete AtomicMap instances. Infinispan producers at JBoss claim to be actively engaged in changing Infnispan programatic configurations. Configuration fluency is one of the goals for this alpha release as well as all future Infinispan releases. The new alpha version is available for download here.
Python 3.2 is CompleteThe new Python 3.2 includes several dictionary based configuration logging options; formatters, handlers, filters and loggers. Developers who use Python 3.2 can also take advantage of a new, fully featured command line parsing module called Argparse. No changes will be made to the Python syntax, which is still under a freeze.
The Final Release of JBoss Tools 3.2JBoss Tools 3.2 for Eclipse have reached their GA release this week. JSF 2 support has been included in many of the JBoss Tools 3.2 editors, resulting in better support for composite components. In addition to the increased support for JSF 2, 3.2 includes enhancements to the Visual Page Editor, which features new templates for jBPM, Spring, and Richfaces 4. Eclipse Workspaces that developers created using JBoss Tools 3.1 can easily be opened in version 3.2. JBoss Tools 3.2 can be downloaded here.
