this is really cool!
But that's more the (not so successful) way Tomcat is "embedable" (deploy complete wars). In Jetty you can deploy classes witout having to generate war files or other artefacs which needs much less time to do a restart with new classes and allows simple and fast debugging.

So if you could could extend the API to something like that it would be perfect!
