Java Power Tools has a cover
The Java Power Tools book finally has a cover!
One of the interesting quirks about the publishing industry is that the author doesn't have much say in the cover - well, none, actually. At least that was what happened with Java Power Tools. So it was all a bit of a suprise. Some sort of press-drill. I guess I might have preferred a coffee grinder or an old Italian expresso machine, but them's the breaks!
The book itself is coming out on the 27th of March, and comes to 880 pages. For anyone who hasn't been following, it covers a range of open source tools that can help you optimize your development process, including areas such as Build Scripts, Version Control, Continuous Integration, Code Quality Analysis, Unit Testing and Integration Testing, Issue Tracking and Automated Documentation. And, not leastly, how to make these tools work together smoothly.
