Working on a Windows 8 app, or looking to start? Live in the Raleigh/Durham area? You might want to take a look at this weekend's Windows 8 Hackathon at Duke University:

This 24-hour event will be filled with coding, sharing, and plenty of food. Bring your own laptop installed with Windows 8 RTM, your apps and your cool ideas and get ready to create! At the end of the hackathon, you’ll get to show off your app. The best apps will walk away with prizes!

The Hackathon runs from 6pm tonight (Friday, Sept. 21) to 6pm on Saturday in the Nello L. Teer Building, Room 203. You can learn more and register on the Eventbrite page.

Let us know if you go and make something cool!
