Randy Bias of Cloudscaling and Boris Renski of Mirantis participated in a moderated debate on the merits of embracing AWS and the AWS API in OpenStack. Joe Arnold of SwiftStack will moderate the debate, starting with a set of questions then opening the forum for audience questions.

The idea is to explore the question of AWS architecture and API compatibility in a community forum where we can begin developing a set of specific and actionable questions for the relevant Technical Committees in OpenStack to explore. Let’s have some (respectful) fun with a hot issue and see if we can move the ball forward.
