We learned JavaEE7 technology APIs and had a particular focus on JSF, JSON-P, WebSocket and Batch.
I started the session by presenting the stack of JavaEE7 and presented the top tens features in JavaEE7(WebSocket, Batch application,JSON processing, Concurrency, JMS,annotations,JAX-RS, Faces flow, the notion of Default Resources,etc.).
Aboubacar Lamizana spent one hour explaining the new features of JSF.
We also took an hour to build together a basic application using WebSocket API with NetBeans IDE ( of course !).
Attendees were happy to discover many possibilities with the couple NetBeans /Glassfish 4.0
