Just yesterday, Christopher Taylor wrote that "API Companies Are Hot Right Now" .  Today it seems that there's more evidence confirming his view.

The API management company 3scale just announced $4.2 Million in venture funding today!  I have to say congratulations to my two contacts there, Guillaume Balas and Steven Willmott, who are part of our MVB program as well.

If you're interested in API management, you should check out their press release  about the news.  The key takeaway you should see...  "The growth of the number of APIs is exponential and forecasted to reach into the millions over the next 5 years."

If you have an idea around API management, my advice is not to sit on it.
