Android Dev Resources: The Big List

  • submit to reddit

A recent post from Sharif Ahmed at @sharif's blog titled "The Big List of Android Dev Resources" provides exactly what the title says: a big list of Android developer resources. The list is extensive, and it is divided into a wide range of categories, which keeps it from being overwhelming. The most well-populated categories include:

  • Tutorials
  • Architecture
  • Design
  • UI
And there are quite a few more, though the rest only have two or three resources each. Some of the resources are more detailed than others, and they range from the very general and obvious (the official Android Design Guide from Google, for example) to the narrow and obscure (for instance, the NineOldAndroids library for using the Honeycomb animation API on old versions of Android).

If you're looking for some quick tips, detailed tutorials, new libraries, or anything else Android-dev-related, take a look at the full list and you're bound to find something useful.
