QF-Test Development Version 3.1 Released
After the successful release of version 3.0 of the renowned GUI testing tool QF-Test December 2009, Quality First Software has followed up with the new development release 3.1.
The test automation tool QF-Test which is also offering cross-platform web testing (cross-browser, static and dynamic web pages - web2.0/Ajax) beside its Java GUI testing (Swing, SWT, Eclipse Plugins, RCP applications, Java Applets, ULC) includes quite some new features in version 3.1.
For example, QF-Test's embedded browser for web-testing now support Java applets, i.e. is able to test the interaction of a web application with its embedded Java applet. Extensive refactoring options are also included beside other improvements.The current version is available for download at the QFS homepage where you can also apply for a free evaluation license.
QF-Test features basic capture/replay for simple recording of test cases, but also more advanced options like integration to various test management tools, scripting (Jython and Groovy), structuring and modularization, which strongly increase the reusability of tests and thus reduce the maintenance effort.
