PushToTest™, the Open Source Testing (OST) company, and Jaspersoft™, the leading provider of open source Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, announced a partnership to provide web application performance testing management and root cause analysis solutions. Under the new partnership, PushToTest will integrate Jaspersoft iReports into the upcoming TestMaker 6. TestMaker users will now have access to more than 10,000 performance charts and mitigation reports that determine the root cause of performance bottlenecks and deliver immediate solutions. The partnership is the first of its kind in the Open Source Software (OSS) world to enable faster and deeper root cause analysis for finding and resolving performance bottlenecks and functional issues in web applications.

“Jaspersoft’s advanced business intelligence analytics makes PushToTest TestMaker the smartest kid on the block,” said Frank Cohen, CEO and Founder at PushToTest. “We tried embedding another open source BI reporting and analytics solution, but couldn't make the tools work well together. We then went to Jaspersoft and saw real, immediate progress by embedding their BI tool in just a couple of weeks. We are thrilled about this partnership.”

To extend the benefits of this partnership even more fully to its customers, PushToTest will offer JasperReports Server Professional as an upgrade to the reports available within TestMaker 6. This upgrade path will deliver even greater value for organizations that need to solve enterprise-class BI problems.

“By partnering with PushToTest, Jaspersoft's global enterprise customers will be able to quickly surface performance bottlenecks and functional issues for fast application performance management,” said Jaspersoft CEO Brian Gentile. “Jaspersoft is excited to give PushToTest customers an array of key BI capabilities including faster report creation, custom-crafted dashboards and mix-and-match reports”.

“As BI migrates to the web, driven by open source and cloud economics, the need for solid distributed performance management tooling will only grow in importance,” said James Governor, RedMonk analyst and cofounder, “It makes sense for Jaspersoft and PushToTest to collaborate in supporting this better user experience”.

The joint solution offered by PushToTest and Jaspersoft is vital for organizations delivering Rich Internet Applications (RIA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM) and Web application solutions. Jaspersoft brings BI directly to customers, allowing them to create, deliver and embed interactive reports in a variety of formats for anyone in an organization.

PushToTest and Jaspersoft are known for their open source pedigrees, community-based support, flexible licensing model and functionality. Both companies are disruptive to proprietary solutions from traditional BI and test solution vendors.
