NextReports Designer  has reached version 3.0

A remarkable new feature is chart creation. As most functionalities in NextReports, charts are very easy to create. Define X and Y axis columns, and you are done.
Of course, it is possible to add more columns on Y axis and customize title, fonts, colors, legends, labels or styles. With NextReports you can create different types of charts (lines, bars, horizontal bars, stacked bars and pies). All existing functionalities (like wizard, publish / download  to server, backup, restore, import) were extended for chart support. Charts can be previewed inside the designer, but their main use is to be published using NextReports Server and to be added to dashboards for real time visualization.

Other new features include adding images and hyperlinks to reports and export reports to xml.

All features, bug fixes and improvements can be seen here.

NextReports Server has reached version 2.0

NextReports Server offers support for dashboards. Users can add, delete and share dashboards. Charts can be easily arranged inside a dashboard using drag and drop. Users can modify chart settings, and can refresh them individually or all at once.

The engine supports now JasperReports 3.7.1 and allows parameters of type list without a specific definition and interpretation inside the xml.

NextReports Server, like NextReports Designer, can be tested fully functional with a trial license. Installation is easy and intuitive.
