Java GUI Testing Tool Squish Supports New Eclipse "Ganymede" 3.4
Squish, the cross-platform automated GUI testing tool for Java and Web applications, now supports testing of Java GUI applications based on the new Eclipse 3.4 RCP framework code named "Ganymede".
"The availability of 3rd party tools, such as GUI testing tools, is vital for the Eclipse community. We are glad to see froglogic quickly adopting new Eclipse releases with its Squish GUI test tool", said Mike Milinkovich, Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation.
"The Ganymede release is another great release of the Eclipse community which will make it even more attractive for application developers. Quickly adding support for testing Eclipse 3.4 based applications with Squish has been a logical step for us.", said Harri Porten, froglogic's platform chief.
By staying up-to-date with the Eclipse development, froglogic shows its commitment to the Java and Eclipse community.
