Now a significant event on the annual tech calendar in Ireland, the java@cork conference attracts hundreds of developers every year. In response to it@cork members requests for more of the same, the event has been extended to a full day event on September 9.

The programme features speakers from Sun Microsystems, Eclipse and SpringSource with insights into real world scenarios from Iona, RR Donnelley and Pilz.

This year's line up features a fantastic mix of local it@cork members and international speakers.

Ben Hale from SpringSource opens with a talk on OSGi and The Enterprise, with Ralph Mueller talking about Eclipse Verticals - From Open Source Consumption to Creation.

Sun are represented by Simon Ritter discussing JavaFX and The Future for Rich Internet Applications.

For more information and to register for the conference please visit http://www.itcork.ie/index.cfm?page=events&eventId=122.

Reviews and podcasts of the talks will be available on JavaLobby and EclipseZone in the coming weeks.
