Fabric3 1.9.6 Brings Portable SCA to WebLogic Server 10.3.6 and Tomcat 7
The Fabric3 project has just released version 1.9.6, which enables developers to create innovative service-oriented applications for a variety of Java runtime environments. The latest Fabric3 release adds support for WebLogic Server 10.3.6 and Tomcat 7, making it possible to write fully portable applications based on the OASIS SCA standards using a lightweight (~10MB) runtime.
When deployed on WebLogic, Fabric3 leverages the former's clustering, high-availability, messaging, transaction manager and self-tuning thread pools to run highly-reliable applications. When deployed to Tomcat, Fabric3 provides high-availability services and performant messaging built using a combination of Atomikos, JGroups, and ZeroMQ.
