Natively compiled Java applications may now take advantage of the accelerated Windows graphics pipeline and the Nimbus look-and-feel in Java SE 6u10.

Excelsior has just released the Java SE 6 Update 10 support add-on for the latest version of Excelsior JET, a spec-compliant Java technology implementation enhanced with an ahead-of-time compiler and deployment toolkit.

Among the improvements in Java SE 6u10, formerly known as "Update N" and "Consumer JRE", are a new Swing look & feel called Nimbus and the fully hardware accelerated Windows graphics pipeline. They are now available to the developers using Excelsior JET, which includes the Java SE API implementation licensed from Sun Microsystems.
