Diagramming Library yFiles 2.8

yWorks, a leading provider of diagramming components for Java, Adobe Flex and .NET applications, has released yFiles for Java 2.8, the new major release of its outstanding Java class library for analysis, automatic layout, and visualization of diagrams, networks, and graphs.

This release includes new functionality, like:

• A new edge routing algorithm that generates orthogonal, bus-style edge paths.
• New support for rotated labels, including, in particular, support for auto-rotating edge labels.
• Node ports present a means to visually indicate allowed connection locations at nodes.
