AquaFold, Inc. has released Aqua Data Studio 9.0, a major upgrade which enhances its ETL, Data Warehousing and Analytics functionality with a set of Open APIs and a Script Development IDE. The Aqua Open APIs are a set of programming interfaces exposing the inner functionality of Aqua Data Studio. These APIs may be accessed by writing and executing an AquaScript, which is a JavaScript written inside of Aqua Data Studio that has the ability to invoke the Aqua Open APIs. For a seamless development experience, Aqua Data Studio's IDE enables developers to write, execute and debug AquaScripts inside of the product. AquaScript for Aqua Data Studio is similar to Visual Basic for Applications in MS Office.  If you are familiar with Visual Basic for Applications, learning AquaScripts will be a simple learning experience.

New Features :
    - Script Development IDE : Supporting JavaScript editor and debugger
    - Open APIs : 20 API packages ranging from Archiving, Charting to Version control.
    - New Database Support : Netezza
    - Chart Enhancements - including new World Map chart
    - Table and Index partitioning
    - ... many more highly desirable features included in version 9.0
